Is coaching Biblical?

Yes! In Proverbs 19:20-21 it says "Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless, the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand." Here at Peace and Purpose, we strive to do all things with the Holy Spirit's guidance and instruction.
What is coaching NOT?

​An online course, once-size-fits-all model, giving answers, therapy, advice, a diagnosis or prescription, a group of programs, the perfect solution, etc.

Does coaching give me answers to my questions?
Yes and no… As a coach, my job is to encourage you and guide you to find the answers on your own with the Holy Spirit's direction. If you feel stuck, I am always there to guide you!
What is the difference between Coaching vs Counseling?
Coaching is a process where a coach supports a person in achieving a specific personal or relational goal by providing accountability, support, and guidance, while counseling is a process where a counselor provides assistance and guidance to a person in resolving personal or psychological problems.
Is this a Christian Coaching service?
​Yes, we strive to place God at the center of all we do and apply biblical principles throughout each session.
What if I can't afford coaching?
You have a few options!
- First, we offer payment plans!
- Second, we have books on our resource page that are a great place to start if you are looking for guidance and wisdom. (Don't forget the Word of God is our #1 recommended book)
- Third, ask me about our Pay It Forward Program. This program is designed for people who are tight on money but want change in their lives. (see following FAQ) Please note that the funds are not always available and are given on an FCFS basis.
What is the Pay It Forward Program?
It is a program designed by Peace and Purpose Coaching that allows generous individuals to donate any amount towards coaching services. As the donator you have the choice to donate to a specific service if you choose (premarital, wives, moms, or single-moms) All donations go toward coaching sessions for individuals or couples that cannot afford coaching services at the time. We do stress the point that these funds go towards those who need it most.
What is Voxer?
Voxer is a FREE app that is used to send text or voice messages. Peace and Purpose Coaching includes Voxer Office Hours* access to Premium + clients for free. Voxer access is available for all other clients as both an add-on and a stand-alone service.
What are your Voxer Office Hours?
Our Voxer Office Hours* are Wednesdays from 9am-3pm.
Voxer Office Hours are specific to the Voxer app and are not the same as our regular business hours.
