Dry Fields

Why should we read the Bible every day?

It guides us!

We need DAILY guidance that can be found in God's Word.(Psalm 119:105)

Transforms and renews your mind.

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable." Romans 12:2

It gives us hope!

"For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope." Romans 15:4

Resist and protect yourself from temptations.

We can resist temptation and lies from the enemy when we meditate on the Word of God and we store it in our hearts. (Psalm 119:11)

Seek truth.

God's Word is TRUTH! (1 John 4:1)

Yield spiritual fruit.

"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but those whose delight is in the law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither."Psalm 1:1-3

Be prepared to teach, correct, rebuke and encourage.

"Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage- with great patience and careful instruction." 2 Timothy 4:2

Be set free

"If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:31-32

Refreshens your soul, opens our eyes to truth, and brings joy.

Psalm 19:7-12
